Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to read and speak English
- Successful completion of hospital orientation
- Successful completion of department orientation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours
- Must be able to pull and push carts and equipment for 6 to 8 hours

Job Duties
- Maintain established standards for high food quality using recipe cards and teamwork to provide customer satisfaction
- Prepare assigned recipes according to production sheets and standardized recipe cards ensuring quality and quantity
- Maintain appropriate sanitation in service and preparation areas to ensure a sanitary working environment
- Enforce department safety policies and procedures to assure safety of patients, staff, and visitors
- Perform additional assignments as required by supervisor or manager
