Job Requirements
- 4 or more years of related work experience
- ServeSafe certification required or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- ability to work flexible shifts including early morning and evening
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- strong attention to detail and compliance with safety and sanitary regulations
- good communication skills
- ability to lift and move foodstuffs and supplies
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station
- operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables
- trim and cut meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use
- provide highest quality of service to customers
- taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, keep records for production planning and requisitioning supplies
- clean and sanitize work stations and equipment following regulatory rules
- comply with HACCP policies and procedures
- participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments
- produce small to large batch goods using advanced cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques
- follow complex recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving food
- assist with supervision of kitchen personnel
- select recipes, prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies
- serve as a lead cook assisting in training less experienced cooks
- perform advanced cooking duties independently
- use advanced knife skills
- oversee production staff and assign tasks
- use production software for pre- and post-production data entry
- take inventory and enter inventory data
- perform other assigned duties
