Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, certification, GED, training or experience required
  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety in food handling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food Safety Certification obtained within six months of hire

Job Duties

  • Oversees food preparation and production for patient and guest meals
  • Ensures compliance with standardized recipes and daily production charts
  • Maintains food quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness
  • Follows HACCP procedures and food safety standards
  • Uses standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
  • Supports department goals and objectives
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth food service operations
