Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food preparation instructions
  • Familiarity with HACCP procedures
  • Required food safety certification within six months of employment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles in food handling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food safety certification required within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees food preparation for patient and guest meals
  • Supports production according to standardized recipes and daily charts
  • Ensures compliance with quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness standards
  • Follows HACCP protocols and food safety procedures
  • Utilizes standard food preparation equipment and utensils properly
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas
  • Coordinates with team members to meet departmental goals
