Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years experience in food preparation or related field
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to obtain food safety certification within six months
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • certificate, GED, training, or relevant experience
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety principles in food handling
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • one year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred
  • food safety certification required within six months of hire

Job Duties

  • Oversee and support food preparation and production for patient and guest meals
  • follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions
  • ensure food quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness
  • comply with HACCP procedures
  • use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
  • meet department goals and objectives
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in food handling
