Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in golf operations or similar role
- strong leadership capabilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- experience in golf instruction preferred
- knowledge of merchandise management
- familiarity with golf tournament coordination
- commitment to professionalism and club representation
- understanding of junior golf program development
Job Duties
- Co-management of men’s and ladies’ tournaments
- prepare and promote member events using the club website and email communications
- update website weekly including tournament results and photos
- administer the club newsletter
- administer men’s and women’s “Play with the Pro” tournament including scheduling dates
- assist in development of junior golf program
- provide golf instruction to juniors, individuals, and clinics
- organize hard goods training sessions and oversee merchandise inventory
- verify hard good member charges for accounts payable
- assist in management and training of outside operation staff
- assist with soft good and hard goods check-in, pricing, and inventory
- assist with sale and display of merchandise
- play golf with membership and improve personal game as time permits
