Job Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand and lift for duration of scheduled shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Work in a safe manner, observing all safety rules and pose no direct threat or injury to another
- Ability to work in a team while managing large numbers of patients and guests
- Flexibility to work at Riverbend Music Center, PNC Pavilion, Andrew J Brady Music Center and Taft Theatre
Job Qualifications
- Ohio Paramedic certification preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge regarding the use of equipment for EMS related duties
- Knowledge of EMS methods, practices, and procedures, with ability to apply knowledge or proper procedures to specific situations
- Ability to analyze situations and act quickly and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and guest relations for patients and patients' family and friends
Job Duties
- Administers emergency medical care to patients as needed and or directed
- Administer advanced life support and care to injured or sick individuals
- Examines patients using advanced diagnostic devices and techniques
- Takes and records vital signs as well as monitors patient condition
- Consults with medical professionals on treatment and follows written medical treatment protocols issued
- Defibrillates, intubates, starts intravenous fluids, administers medications and performs additional procedures as required
- Provide continuum of care from MEMI grounds throughout transport to the hospital as required
