Job Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand and lift for duration of scheduled shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Work in a safe manner, observing all safety rules and pose no direct threat or injury to another
  • Ability to work in a team while managing large numbers of patients and guests
  • Flexibility to work at Riverbend Music Center, PNC Pavilion, Andrew J Brady Music Center and Taft Theatre

Job Qualifications

  • Ohio Paramedic certification preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge regarding the use of equipment for EMS related duties
  • Knowledge of EMS methods, practices, and procedures, with ability to apply knowledge or proper procedures to specific situations
  • Ability to analyze situations and act quickly and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and guest relations for patients and patients' family and friends

Job Duties

  • Administers emergency medical care to patients as needed and or directed
  • Administer advanced life support and care to injured or sick individuals
  • Examines patients using advanced diagnostic devices and techniques
  • Takes and records vital signs as well as monitors patient condition
  • Consults with medical professionals on treatment and follows written medical treatment protocols issued
  • Defibrillates, intubates, starts intravenous fluids, administers medications and performs additional procedures as required
  • Provide continuum of care from MEMI grounds throughout transport to the hospital as required
