Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- current teaching certification/license
- two years of teaching experience preferred
- credible profession of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
- godly character
- membership and regular attendance including life group at First Baptist Rogers
- ability to plan and deliver music lessons aligned with Arkansas State Music Standards
- skill in fostering a Christ-centered classroom environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- emotional maturity and stability
- ability to uphold school policies and participate in ongoing training
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plans fun, age-appropriate weekly music lessons aligned to Arkansas State Music Standards
- Creates a welcoming, engaging environment for singing, movement, instruments, and worship
- Encourages participation and positive attitudes, using simple observations to monitor engagement
- Maintains a positive, Christ-centered environment during classes and rehearsals
- Addresses behavior or participation concerns and communicates with parents or the principal when needed
- Plans and directs all elementary music programs and special events
- Coordinates rehearsals, staging, equipment, and student roles
