Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- must obtain Utah food handler's certification within two weeks
- valid alcohol server training certification required
- minimum age 21
- two years fine dining serving experience
- ability to use POS system preferred
- excellent communication skills
- strong multitasking ability in fast-paced environments
- authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- able to stand for extended periods
- able to lift 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- willing to work various hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- willing to work at any Promontory food and beverage outlet
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within two weeks of employment
- must have valid alcohol server training certification recognized by Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control
- must be at least 21 years old
- two years of fine dining serving experience required
- experience with point of sale (POS) system preferred
- good written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- high attention to detail
Job Duties
- Always have a positive attitude and be a team-oriented person
- greet the member(s) in a friendly and professional manner developing relationships and familiarities
- make members feel like their home away from home
- possess knowledge of modern food trends, wines and spirits
- be familiar with the fine dining steps of service
- solicit the member's food and beverage order, make suggestions and explain choices, communicate special requests and allergies to kitchen staff
- deliver prepared food and beverages ensuring guest satisfaction, follow up on served items
- prepare and present the check, perform cashier duties
- maintain cleanliness and neatness of guest tables
- help maintain a clean and professional dining floor
- complete opening and closing side work thoroughly
- follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe practices
- perform other duties as assigned to ensure a positive dining experience
