Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of fine dining service experience
  • knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • high school diploma preferred
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • ability to work under pressure
  • compliance with grooming and uniform standards
  • ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests according to company and five-star standards
  • take accurate food and beverage orders and explain menu items including ingredients and preparation
  • provide meal recommendations and wine pairings
  • serve food courses and alcoholic beverages promptly
  • communicate with kitchen staff regarding special dietary needs, allergies, and order status
  • maintain cleanliness of work and dining areas
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
  • process payments and present accurate checks
  • adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • anticipate and address guest needs
  • support team members to achieve common goals
  • follow departmental policies and procedures
  • maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
  • perform closing duties and restock supplies
  • lift and move objects up to 20 pounds safely
  • thank guests sincerely for their patronage
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
