Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years hospitality experience
  • Proven knowledge of wine and beverage pairings
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform physical duties including mobility and lifting
  • Professional grooming and appearance
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years in the hospitality industry
  • Extensive wine knowledge
  • Knowledge of sake preferred
  • Level 1 Sommelier certification preferred
  • Experience in fine dining restaurant service
  • Upscale sushi experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate and work in English
  • Professional appearance and grooming

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Execute tasting menu service with expert beverage pairings
  • Coordinate and oversee service flow in collaboration with the Sushi Chef team
  • Provide detailed knowledge and recommendations regarding wine and sake selections
  • Maintain professional appearance and uphold standards of hospitality throughout service
  • Manage guest requests and ensure a memorable dining experience
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area
