Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
- Minimum of 3 years hospitality experience
- Proven knowledge of wine and beverage pairings
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform physical duties including mobility and lifting
- Professional grooming and appearance
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years in the hospitality industry
- Extensive wine knowledge
- Knowledge of sake preferred
- Level 1 Sommelier certification preferred
- Experience in fine dining restaurant service
- Upscale sushi experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate and work in English
- Professional appearance and grooming
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Execute tasting menu service with expert beverage pairings
- Coordinate and oversee service flow in collaboration with the Sushi Chef team
- Provide detailed knowledge and recommendations regarding wine and sake selections
- Maintain professional appearance and uphold standards of hospitality throughout service
- Manage guest requests and ensure a memorable dining experience
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area
