Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in fine dining service experience
- knowledge of Italian cuisine
- hotel experience preferred
- high school diploma preferred

Job Duties
- Explain ingredients, preparation techniques and available substitutions
- talk to customers about daily specials
- be detail oriented
- provide meal recommendations and wine pairing suggestions
- serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to service standards
- answer questions on menu selections to guests
- communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recooking orders, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- record transactions in InfoGenesis system at time of order
- check in with guests to exceed satisfaction with each course and beverage
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glass throughout the day
- complete closing duties including restocking, turning off lights and fire pit, and securing doors
- present accurate check copies to guests and process payments
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to five-star standards
- run food and bus tables during extra time
- anticipate and address guests service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- adhere to quality expectations and standards
- move, lift, and carry objects up to 20 pounds without assistance
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
