Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year fine dining serving experience
- Must be TABC certified before date of hire
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer sales
- Previous cash handling experience
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to use MICROS system accurately
- Ability to handle stress in a calm manner
- Ability to work with co-workers
- Ability to prioritize guest needs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year fine dining serving experience, preferably in a steak house
- Must be TABC certified before date of hire
- Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English with guests, management and co-workers
- Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
- Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers
- Ability to prioritize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting and consistent use of hands and arms required
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in indoor/outdoor environments
Job Duties
- Follow, enforce, comply and adhere to all Bob's Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards and recipes
- Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
- Set tables according to event type and service standards
- Take orders and answer questions, offering suggestions on food and beverage selections and daily specials
- Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Record transactions accurately in MICROS system and adhere to cash handling standards
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Present accurate check to guest and process payment
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Clean and set up tables including polishing water glasses before opening hours
- Perform station set-up and breakdown and complete assigned side work
- Be pleasant, smile, and greet guests, using surnames when obtained
- Perform any other duties assigned by the restaurant manager
