Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk frequently during shifts
- Strong physical stamina to handle demanding restaurant environment
- Good vision including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel items and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear clearly
- Willingness to work in a restaurant and kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant server role
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings including wine and spirits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Responsible for orchestrating the food and beverage service for a station of tables
- Being the face of the establishment by greeting and interacting with guests
- Developing rapport with guests and offering warm, efficient, and thoughtful service
- Possessing a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service in general
- Executing the restaurant's vision and philosophy during all interactions
- Improvising and making impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and restaurant policies
