Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant food service experience
- knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- ability to carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests in alternating sections of the restaurant as quickly as possible
- presents menus and makes meal and wine suggestions
- answers questions regarding meal preparation
- takes orders and presents checks to the cook
- records sales using cash register and follows cash handling procedures
- maintains cash bank and processes payments accurately
- balances checks and completes closing paperwork
- serves orders promptly and professionally
- ensures proper garnish on plates
- presents checks to guests
- continuously checks on guests and responds proactively to their needs
- bussing tables and pouring beverages
- knowledgeable of all menu items and preparation
- completes side work including polishing silverware, stocking condiments, sweeping and cleaning
- practices sanitation standards
- reports tips daily
- ensures alcohol awareness procedures are followed
- assists with room service, bartender, and lounge duties
- able to carry trays up to 30 pounds and stand for 8 hours
- knows emergency and safety procedures
- provides highest quality service at all times
- wears proper uniform and nametag
- performs other duties as assigned
