Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of related restaurant management experience
  • Experience with food planning and preparation
  • Knowledge of sanitation and security practices
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Knowledge of alcohol serving regulations
  • Current certifications including TIPS
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Capability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in hotel and restaurant management or related field
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience in fine dining
  • Practical experience and education combination considered
  • Working knowledge of food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, and recordkeeping
  • Experience with POS systems such as MICROS and reservation systems
  • Knowledge of state alcohol serving regulations and compliance
  • Current required certifications including TIPS
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and people management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive representation of the organization

Job Duties

  • Manages and directs the daily operations of the restaurant
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date staffing plans and prepares schedules
  • Interviews and recommends candidates for employment
  • Conducts new hire orientation and provides staff training
  • Manages performance and disciplines inner guests as needed
  • Enters and maintains guest information in the reservation system
  • Supervises bar operations to maximize profitability and ensure legal compliance
  • Participates in management meetings and coordinates staff tasks
  • Maintains relationships with vendors and ensures health and safety compliance
  • Manages inventory, orders supplies, and handles financial reconciliations
  • Ensures exceptional guest service and resolves guest complaints diplomatically
  • Enforces food safety standards and compliance with laws and company policies
  • Coordinates private events and performs other duties as assigned
