Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum two years of related restaurant management experience
- Experience with food planning and preparation
- Knowledge of sanitation and security practices
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of alcohol serving regulations
- Current certifications including TIPS
- Exceptional communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Capability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in hotel and restaurant management or related field
- Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience in fine dining
- Practical experience and education combination considered
- Working knowledge of food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, and recordkeeping
- Experience with POS systems such as MICROS and reservation systems
- Knowledge of state alcohol serving regulations and compliance
- Current required certifications including TIPS
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and people management abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and positive representation of the organization
Job Duties
- Manages and directs the daily operations of the restaurant
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date staffing plans and prepares schedules
- Interviews and recommends candidates for employment
- Conducts new hire orientation and provides staff training
- Manages performance and disciplines inner guests as needed
- Enters and maintains guest information in the reservation system
- Supervises bar operations to maximize profitability and ensure legal compliance
- Participates in management meetings and coordinates staff tasks
- Maintains relationships with vendors and ensures health and safety compliance
- Manages inventory, orders supplies, and handles financial reconciliations
- Ensures exceptional guest service and resolves guest complaints diplomatically
- Enforces food safety standards and compliance with laws and company policies
- Coordinates private events and performs other duties as assigned
