Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within two weeks of employment
- must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC)
- 1-2 years of previous bartending experience
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous bartending experience
- knowledge of traditional and signature cocktail recipes
- understanding of mixology techniques
- ability to maintain a professional and organized bar environment
- knowledge of fine wines preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet the members in a friendly and professional manner
- knowledge of fine wines preferred
- thorough knowledge of traditional cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
- maintain a clean, organized and professional bar
- knowledge of modern cuisines is preferred
- completion of assigned opening and closing side work
- work independently and collaboratively, be punctual and well groomed
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management
- complete safety training and certifications
- other duties as assigned or as required to ensure that the members have a positive and above satisfactory dining experience
