Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in a similar setting
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm
- Must be able to handle food safely and follow hygiene protocols
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to dietary needs
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Experience with scratch cooking
- Experience in fine dining or country club cooking
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and modified diets
- Culinary education (preferred)
- Ability to follow sanitizing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare meals from scratch for fine dining and senior living residents
- Ensure all food is cooked to meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Adhere to sanitary and food safety guidelines at all times
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and modified diets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate closely with other kitchen and care staff to coordinate meal service
- Continuously improve cooking techniques and menu offerings
