Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in fine dining or culinary roles
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely
- Capability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 40 pounds
- Excellent manual dexterity and sensory skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work full time in Indianapolis, IN
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and mixers

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
- Familiarity with inventory and stock rotation procedures
Job Duties
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating kitchen equipment
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by monitoring stock and following labeling and dating procedures
- Monitor, cook, and prepare foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently using tasting, smelling, or food thermometers
- Prepare stations according to company guidelines
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
- Season, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables for preparation
- Carve, trim, and prepare meats and seafood for service
- May bake breads, rolls, cakes, and pastries
- May wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment
- Compile and maintain records of food usage
- Assist with inventory management
- Follow food specification amounts and assist in forecasting preparation needs
- Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely manner
- Assist culinary staff at various stations as directed
- Communicate kitchen equipment and supply needs to supervisor
- Adhere to company standards for safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform, and productivity
- Provide excellent customer service including being attentive, approachable, and welcoming
- Perform other duties as assigned
