Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Open availability for flexible scheduling
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Ability to comply with food safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or culinary arts preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math skills for measurements and inventory
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to established recipes and standards
- Manage Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) processes
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and work areas
- Follow policies under direction of Lead Cook, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
