Job Requirements
- BS/BA in accounting
- Minimum 5 years business or public accounting/consulting experience
- Strong internal control and technical accounting skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Proven leadership and staff management
- Ability to develop client relationships
- Ability to travel 75-80%
- CPA certification
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA in accounting
- Minimum of 5 years business experience or public accounting/consulting services, preferably in casino and hospitality accounting or operations
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong internal control skills and experience developing internal control systems
- Proficient in US GAAP and/or IFRS for public or private companies
- Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting support, research, and AJE and reconciliations
- Leadership experience with ability to manage staff and develop talent
- Proven relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills
- CPA certification
Job Duties
- Provide technical accounting and accounting support to business operations
- Conduct business process improvement and internal controls assessments
- Lead advisory projects such as organizational structure analysis, profit enhancement, cash management, and profitability analysis
- Document process improvements and policy and procedure updates
- Deliver timely, high-quality client service including coordinating the development and execution of consulting work plans and client deliverables
- Develop an understanding of client business and industry trends
- Act as engagement team lead, managing productivity, adherence to schedules, and resolving client challenges
- Support execution and completion of various client deliverables
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with RSM service lines for integrated service delivery
- Recognize and communicate opportunities to increase service levels and types to clients
