Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- cashiering, cash handling, or transactional experience required
- phone or call center experience preferred
- ability to stand or sit for long periods
- willingness to work indoors in conditions that may include hot or cold temperatures, dust, and noise
Job Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and team-oriented
- strong communicator and problem solver
- comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- detail-oriented with solid math and cash-handling skills
- familiar with POS systems and basic computer operations
Job Duties
- Process transactions by scanning items, calculating totals, and accepting payments including cash, credit, debit, and financing
- manage cash by balancing drawers, making change, and handling cash accurately
- support customers by answering billing questions, resolving issues, and providing friendly service
- promote current promotions, warranties, and product bundles to customers
- assist customers with in-store pickups and answer incoming calls professionally
- maintain checkout areas by keeping them organized, clean, and inviting
