Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • meet professional appearance standards
  • able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • able to work in constricting areas
  • able to tolerate noise and bright lights
  • able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
  • physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 lbs
  • ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in varying work areas including confined spaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • experience working in a hospitality or customer service setting is preferred but not mandatory
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment
  • be a gracious host to all guests and coworkers
  • promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
  • clear and reset tables according to venue standards
  • ensure each table is ready for guests' arrival
  • approach newly seated guests and serve bread, butter, water, etc. in a timely and pleasant manner
  • perform service duties for servers by picking up their orders and delivering them
  • monitor tables to assess guests’ needs and respond to requests, maintaining a clean eating area
  • restock and clean assigned station at shift end according to health standards
  • attend pre-shift meetings
  • maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • collaborate with servers, hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff for smooth operation
  • declare tips through the time and attendance system at shift end
