Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- meet professional appearance standards
- able to respond to visual and oral cues
- able to work in constricting areas
- able to tolerate noise and bright lights
- able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
- physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 lbs
- ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in varying work areas including confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- strong interpersonal skills
- experience working in a hospitality or customer service setting is preferred but not mandatory
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Foster a fun environment
- be a gracious host to all guests and coworkers
- promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
- clear and reset tables according to venue standards
- ensure each table is ready for guests' arrival
- approach newly seated guests and serve bread, butter, water, etc. in a timely and pleasant manner
- perform service duties for servers by picking up their orders and delivering them
- monitor tables to assess guests’ needs and respond to requests, maintaining a clean eating area
- restock and clean assigned station at shift end according to health standards
- attend pre-shift meetings
- maintain regular and consistent attendance
- collaborate with servers, hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff for smooth operation
- declare tips through the time and attendance system at shift end
