Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent or trade school diploma
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience
- 3 to 5 years of plumbing experience
- Experienced in all facets of plumbing trade
- Ability to perform varied mechanical maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift more than 25 pounds regularly, more than 50 pounds frequently, and over 100 pounds occasionally
- Possess a valid driver’s license

- 3-5 years of plumbing experience
- Experienced in all facets of the plumbing trade
- Ability to perform varied mechanical maintenance and repair work
- Strong problem diagnosis and appropriate action determination skills
- Capability to regularly lift or move over 25 pounds, frequently over 50 pounds, and occasionally over 100 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of centrifugal pumps-domestic water, HVAC pumps (tower cooling & chilled water), submersible, column, and sump/sewage
- Inspect, modify, maintain, repair, and install pumps, electric motors, valves, and related mechanical equipment under general supervision
- Troubleshoot and repair pressure reducing valves associated with domestic water booster systems
- Troubleshoot and repair sewage ejector pumps, pump controls and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair common electrical issues including three-phase and single-phase electrical systems, capacitors and start relays
- Respond to emergency situations during normal hours and when on call for 24-hour emergency service
- Perform planned maintenance, inspect pump systems and related equipment, and recommend repairs or replacements as needed
- Follow electrical safety rules and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
- Maintain service truck tools, safety equipment, instruments, and materials specific to pump, motor, and equipment maintenance
- Operate a variety of equipment and hand and power tools to construct, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment
- Maintain professional conduct and work effectively in team settings
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, outside agencies, and the public
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to prescribed work schedules
- Observe safe work practices and safety methods
- Perform other duties as assigned
