Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in janitorial supervision
- proven leadership abilities
- ability to manage large teams
- effective communication skills
- ability to perform administrative tasks
- reliable transportation for patrolling job site
- availability to work first shift 6:00am-2:30pm
- ability to comply with company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- two years of janitorial supervisor experience preferred and required
- proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff
Job Duties
- Assist with the training of the cleaning team
- oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
- manage security of keys and access cards for the property
- report work orders for maintenance
- oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with manager
- check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
- complete order forms completely and accurately
- coordinate equipment usage and inventories
- manage daily employee lunches and breaks
- maintain daily shift report for managers
- perform basic administrative, payroll and attendance functions as required
- maintain communication with account managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels
- provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks
- ensure that shift schedules are complete a week in advance
- work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered
- accommodate increased or decreased client staffing requests
- manage the no-fault attendance policy
- perform other duties as assigned or requested
