Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years experience in janitorial supervision
  • proven leadership abilities
  • ability to manage large teams
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to perform administrative tasks
  • reliable transportation for patrolling job site
  • availability to work first shift 6:00am-2:30pm
  • ability to comply with company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • two years of janitorial supervisor experience preferred and required
  • proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff

Job Duties

  • Assist with the training of the cleaning team
  • oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
  • manage security of keys and access cards for the property
  • report work orders for maintenance
  • oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with manager
  • check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
  • complete order forms completely and accurately
  • coordinate equipment usage and inventories
  • manage daily employee lunches and breaks
  • maintain daily shift report for managers
  • perform basic administrative, payroll and attendance functions as required
  • maintain communication with account managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels
  • provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks
  • ensure that shift schedules are complete a week in advance
  • work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered
  • accommodate increased or decreased client staffing requests
  • manage the no-fault attendance policy
  • perform other duties as assigned or requested
