Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must have a reliable means of communication
- must have reliable transportation
- legal right to work in the United States
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- high school diploma or GED or willingness to complete GED within six months
- willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check
- may be required to meet state, county, and municipal security license requirements
- physical and mental capacity to perform job duties
- ability to work overtime as required
- ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of related security experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of security operations and supervisory practices
- ability to provide positive direction and motivate staff
- understanding of security and safety devices
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to adapt to site procedures and handle stressful situations
- ability to write reports and maintain logs
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact across diverse cultures
- proficiency in English
Job Duties
- Supervises security officers and other assigned personnel
- ensures personnel deliver high quality service
- evaluates service quality and initiates corrective actions
- meets with branch management and client representatives for updates and problem resolution
- provides support during client start-ups
- reviews and communicates post orders and changes
- participates in orientation, training, development, and retention of staff
- assigns and directs work and coaches employees
- carries out disciplinary actions as necessary
- maintains a positive, professional environment compliant with laws and policies
- coordinates with branch management on scheduling, staffing, equipment, and record keeping
- inspects client sites to ensure coverage and compliance
- visits client representatives for feedback
- covers vacant posts as needed
- reviews reports for accuracy and timeliness
- assists in payroll and billing
- performs related tasks as assigned
