Job Requirements

  • Technical degree preferred and/or relevant military training
  • Other backgrounds welcome to apply with relevant work history
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical activities including standing, lifting, stretching, bending, and squatting throughout the day
  • Must be comfortable with day travel and frequent overnight travel
  • Strong mechanical and technical agility including electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, computer hardware and software knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and adaptability

Job Qualifications

  • Technical degree preferred and/or relevant military training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization, from front line operators to senior management
  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, computer hardware and software
  • Ability to adapt and think quickly in response to change
  • Sense of urgency and motivation to prioritize daily tasks and ensure customer needs are met

Job Duties

  • Create and grow multiple aspects of our business through supporting regional and company goals
  • Improve customer satisfaction by delivering the highest customer service in our industry
  • Identify, own, and track any issues with an account according to call escalation procedure to reach resolution
  • Receive and utilize highly advanced technical training at customer accounts on a daily basis
  • Manage a customer account in its entirety by determining how Videojet can increase value throughout their business by offering other services
  • Support the team by traveling from Chicago to points east to help provide additional coverage for short term gaps
