Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
  • Full body mobility and safe operation in various environments
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated and reliable with excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and work flexible hours including overtime
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • Compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Successful completion of federal background investigation for security access

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or related trade certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems
  • Strong communication and customer focus skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn specialized software
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Compliance with TSA background checks for Sensitive Security Information access
  • Ability to operate carts, hoists, cranes, and other heavy equipment

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoots, services, and repairs Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray and Cargo Inspection equipment at customer sites
  • Installs and deploys detection equipment
  • Maintains accurate field service logs and organizes job files until completion
  • Responds to emergency and non-scheduled service calls within established response times
  • Conducts follow-up communications with customers to ensure satisfaction of work performed
  • Orders, installs, and manages repair parts inventory
  • Maintains technical certifications and participates in service sales initiatives
