Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent trade certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
- Must have full body mobility and ability to work safely around industrial equipment
- Ability to travel daily to various locations within the Cleveland Metro area including airports
- Must comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies
- Must be willing and able to respond to emergency service calls
- Must maintain technical certifications current
- Must be able to submit expenses, time cards, and complete other administrative tasks timely
- Must pass applicable federal background checks and security clearances
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and accountable
Job Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or related trade certification (electrical, electronic, mechanical)
- Military training in electrical, mechanical or electronics fields
- Minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn specialized software
- Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus and teamwork orientation
- Ability to respond quickly to customer issues and travel as required
- Familiarity with Trace and X-Ray technologies
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under stress and maintain reliability
- Confident operation of carts, hoists, davit cranes, and pallet jacks
Job Duties
- Troubleshoots, services, installs and repairs Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray and Cargo Inspection equipment at customer sites
- Maintains field service logs and filing systems
- Demonstrates initiative and dedication through positive use of downtime
- Conducts follow-up calls with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Responds to emergency and non-scheduled service calls within established timeframes
- Completes scheduled maintenance within deadlines and submits documentation
- Orders, installs and returns parts while managing repair parts cycle time
- Maintains an accurate inventory of tools and parts
- Ensures tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
- Provides customer training and technical support
- Participates in service sales and special projects
- Assesses product performance and recommends modifications
- Maintains communication proficiency and collaborates with senior staff
- Complies with company health, safety, environmental policies, and regulations
- Submits administrative paperwork timely
- May supervise others on a project basis
