Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- a basic understanding of agricultural practices (pre and post-harvest)
- basic mechanical skills to maintain and troubleshoot equipment issues
- the ability to fabricate, assemble and install leased machinery systems on an as needed basis

Job Duties
- Mixing and testing chemicals in the field to verify proper dilution and effectiveness
- develop relationships with personnel and management
- maintain proper records of chemical use to assure machinery down time is kept to a minimum
- be responsible for inventory cost control and summer repair parts list
- maintain proper inventory of leased machinery parts and chemical use at packinghouses to assure machinery down time and customer complaints are kept to a minimum
- work with technical service to ensure application of JBT chemicals
- complete checklists and fill in delivery log books for JBT requirements and food safety documentation
- the ability to fabricate, assemble and install leased machinery system
