Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience delivering technical field services supporting hardware and software at client sites
- Experience in a customer-facing role with successful reporting and presentation skills
- Experience working in locations with large, concentrated deployments and networking and fiber experience
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs waist high to replace server components
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience delivering technical field services supporting hardware and software at client sites
- Experience in a customer-facing role, including reporting and presenting to all levels of the organization
- Experience working in locations with large, concentrated deployments of assets
- Knowledge of networking and fiber technologies
Job Duties
- Triage issues with direction from Dell support
- Execute plan of action from Dell domain engineer or L3 - communicate using Teams, email, and phone
- Document plan of action results, logs and service report including parts numbers and PPID of old and new parts replaced to Dell via case email
- Reseat parts, swap or replace parts, upgrading firmware as needed
- Conduct server testing and validation by running diagnostics and capturing and uploading logs
