Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with technical field services
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- experience supporting hardware and software at client sites
- experience in customer-facing roles including reporting and presenting to all levels
- ability to lift minimum 50 pounds waist high
- experience working in client locations with large concentrated deployment of assets and networking/fiber knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience and education
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical field services
- experience delivering hardware and software support at client sites
- experience working in customer-facing roles and reporting to all organizational levels
- experience with networking and fiber in environments with large concentrated deployments
- strong communication and documentation skills
- familiarity with diagnostics tools and server technologies
- Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification (preferred)
- CompTIA certifications such as Tech+, A+, Security+, Network+ (preferred)
- networking certifications like CCNA or equivalent (preferred)
Job Duties
- Triage issues with direction from Dell support
- execute plan of action from Dell domain engineer or L3 using Teams, email, and phone
- document plan of action results, logs, and service reports including parts numbers and PPID of replaced parts to Dell via case email
- reseat parts, swap or replace parts, upgrade firmware as needed
- perform server testing and validation by running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs
- collaborate with peers and support teams to resolve customer issues
- provide outstanding on-site customer support and create a great customer experience
