Job Requirements

  • 1-8 years of project management and related experience
  • engineering or construction related degree preferred
  • able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
  • ability to spend extended periods onsite during renovation projects
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards
  • experience with project management technology platforms such as Smartsheet, ProCore, SharePoint, DocuSign, Bluebeam, Divvy, and Rippling

Job Qualifications

  • 1-8 years of project management and related experience
  • engineering or construction related degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • proven ability to creatively solve problems
  • strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • excellent analytical skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Job Duties

  • Project manage one or multiple projects concurrently
  • provide bi-weekly written reports for both internal and external review
  • manage client relationships onsite with the hotel manager
  • forecast and recruit resources needed to reach goals
  • manage labor and material resources in an effective and efficient manner to avoid delays and cost overruns
  • assist in tracking project costs to meet budget
  • assist in developing and managing detailed project schedules and guestroom displacement schedules
  • develop and manage site safety plans, logistics plans, and phasing plans
  • lead weekly OAC meetings and internal project meetings
  • create, track, and follow up meeting minutes and action items
  • manage contracts and relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • review subcontractor and vendor invoices and verify progress completions
  • measure project performance to identify areas for schedule and cost improvements
  • create long and short-term plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression
  • brainstorm, improvise, and problem solve when confronted with challenges
  • proactively follow up on procurement ship dates
  • oversee and track FF&E expediting reports
  • serve as point of contact for internal design, procurement, and construction teams
  • communicate with InnSpace Management to keep project aligned with goals
  • consult with InnSpace Client Relations and Preconstruction on change orders
  • implement construction safety practices per OSHA
  • perform quality control throughout development
  • perform punch walks, create punchlists, and manage punch completion
  • utilize industry and building code best practices throughout project execution
  • create and submit project billings
  • contribute to and implement InnSpace Construction Excellence plan
