Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and marketing
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach FL
- Flexibility to work according to business event needs schedule
- Proficiency in marketing tools and social media platforms
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in event planning and marketing preferably within an educational or non-profit setting
- Excellent organizational communication and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Innovative thinker with the ability to develop engaging event concepts and marketing strategies
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including faculty staff and external partners
Job Duties
- Lead the planning and execution of university events including conferences open houses alumni gatherings and promotional events
- Collaborate with vendors sponsors and university departments to ensure successful event execution
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events utilizing various channels such as social media email and print
- Oversee all on-site event activities ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise
- Manage event budgets ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and gather insights for future improvements
