Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of recent relevant experience in event planning, trade show coordination, or related roles
  • proficiency in Microsoft Suite, ON24, Salesforce, and Splash
  • ability to manage multiple projects and event details simultaneously
  • strong communication and collaboration skills
  • experience with negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management is desired
  • capacity to analyze and report on event ROI and KPIs

Job Qualifications

  • experience collaborating with strategic B2B OEMs such as Cisco, Palo, HP
  • proficiency in Microsoft Suite, ON24, Salesforce, and Splash
  • experience managing multiple projects and event details simultaneously
  • negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management experience desired
  • ability to manage event tech platforms and tools for registration, engagement, and reporting
  • capacity to measure, analyze, and report on the ROI and KPIs of each event and apply insights to future planning

Job Duties

  • support and coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and online events
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event goals, target audiences, messaging, and logistics
  • create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure events are delivered on schedule and within scope
  • assist the Director of Events in tasks related to larger scale events
  • facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure alignment and timely delivery of event components
  • develop and disseminate event communications including invitations, agendas, speaker bios, and post-event thank-yous
  • leverage event technology platforms such as Microsoft Suite, ON24, Salesforce, and Splash to support registration, engagement, and reporting
  • set up and manage attendee registration portals and track participation metrics
  • manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities
  • demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of event planning
