Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Dispatch experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and linehaul field operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Time management and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Coordinate daily dispatching operations to ensure efficient linehaul freight movement
  • Monitor and manage linehaul transportation complying with DOT regulations
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, terminal staff, and other team members
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and web-based software applications for daily operational tasks
  • Manage time-sensitive assignments with strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain on-time delivery schedules
  • Implement and support operational processes and team collaborations
