Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive physical movements including bending, stooping, pulling, folding, and kneeling
  • ability to communicate clearly and comprehend written and spoken instructions
  • must be available for midweek shifts with possible weekends
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
  • willingness to use personal protection equipment when required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in high-end health or country club environment preferred
  • experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial laundry preferred
  • bi-lingual skills a plus
  • strong customer and guest service skills
  • motivated and self-starter
  • ability to work independently and as a team player

Job Duties

  • Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
  • maintain cleanliness of the facility in all areas of club
  • ensure towels and robes are laundered
  • ensure towels are stocked in locker and fitness areas
  • ensure all amenities are stocked in locker rooms and spa locker areas
  • clean all courts, inside and out if applicable
  • clean tennis patio, sidewalks, parking lots if applicable
  • pick up litter and remove garbage from all areas of the club regularly
  • operate cleaning equipment and tools
  • perform other duties as assigned which may include the use of personal protection equipment
  • attend all staff meetings as required
