Job Requirements
- doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) degree
- valid veterinary license
- experience with cats or willingness to learn feline medicine
- strong communication skills
- ability to work full-time or part-time
- no on-call or overnight availability required
- willingness to relocate to Chico, CA if applicable
Job Qualifications
- doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) or equivalent degree
- licensed to practice veterinary medicine
- experience or strong interest in feline medicine
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- willingness to engage in continuing education
- leadership potential preferred but not required
Job Duties
- provide compassionate veterinary care to feline patients
- participate in the specialized treatment of hyperthyroidism using I-131 therapy
- collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- manage medical records and client communications effectively
- maintain adherence to hospital protocols and feline-friendly practices
- contribute to the ongoing education and mentorship within the practice
- potentially expand scope to include canine care for qualified candidates
