Job Requirements

  • doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) degree
  • valid veterinary license
  • experience with cats or willingness to learn feline medicine
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full-time or part-time
  • no on-call or overnight availability required
  • willingness to relocate to Chico, CA if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm) or equivalent degree
  • licensed to practice veterinary medicine
  • experience or strong interest in feline medicine
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • willingness to engage in continuing education
  • leadership potential preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • provide compassionate veterinary care to feline patients
  • participate in the specialized treatment of hyperthyroidism using I-131 therapy
  • collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • manage medical records and client communications effectively
  • maintain adherence to hospital protocols and feline-friendly practices
  • contribute to the ongoing education and mentorship within the practice
  • potentially expand scope to include canine care for qualified candidates
