Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test including marijuana
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with hand truck
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be punctual and ready to work each day
- Be able to climb stairs
- Be able to work in all weather conditions
- Have a strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- Previous local driving or delivery experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs
Job Duties
- Operate delivery vehicle safely at all times
- Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences with up to 150 stops daily
- Perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels
- Load vehicle and organize daily delivery loads
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with management
- Accurately operate delivery scanner and track package disposition
- Consistently complete entire delivery route in a timely manner
