Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test including marijuana
- Pass a DOT physical
- Be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with a hand truck
- Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be punctual and ready to work each day
- Be able to climb stairs
- Be able to work in all types of weather
- Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Possess a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a local, route, or courier driver preferred
- Ability to operate delivery vehicle safely
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- Perform daily vehicle inspections including fluid levels check
- Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- Accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- Ensure accurate disposition of package deliveries and pickups
- Consistently complete entire route in a timely manner
