Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a DOT physical
- English proficiency
- Physical ability to get in and out of the truck frequently
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays during holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with local routes and delivery procedures
- Previous experience with parcel delivery or courier services preferred
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Arrive at Cocoa, FL FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
- Complete 100-120 or more stops a day plus follow routes and time schedule
- Drive a company owned truck, following strict safety standards on and off the road
- Use company owned technology to manage the delivery process in a quick and safe manner
- Lift packages up to 150 pounds with provided equipment
- Work in all weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch and customers during deliveries
