Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test including marijuana
- Pass a DOT physical examination
- Be able to safely lift and carry packages as required
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be punctual and ready for work daily
- Be able to climb stairs
- Be able to work in all weather conditions
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and commitment to job completion
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with hand truck
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Experience in local or route delivery driving preferred
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
- Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- Accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- Ensure accurate disposition of package deliveries and pickups
- Consistently complete entire delivery route in a timely manner
