Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a valid driver’s license
- maintain a clean driving record
- pass a drug test including marijuana
- pass DOT physical examination
- ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- reliable transportation to and from work
- punctuality and readiness to work each day
- ability to climb stairs
- ability to work in all types of weather
- possess a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- proven work experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs and use a hand truck for up to 150 lbs
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- demonstrated punctuality and reliability
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- perform daily vehicle inspection including checking fluid levels
- load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- work independently and as part of a team
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- ensure accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups
- consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
