Job Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
have a valid driver’s license
maintain a clean driving record
pass a drug test including marijuana
pass a DOT physical
be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check
have reliable transportation to and from work
be punctual and ready to work each day
be able to climb stairs
be able to work in all types of weather
have a strong work ethic and a get it done attitude

Job Qualifications

Previous local driving or delivery experience
experience with FedEx, Amazon, UPS, DHL, Walmart, Uber, Lyft or similar companies preferred
ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
ability to provide excellent customer service
knowledge of route planning and package handling
strong communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Operate delivery vehicle safely at all times
deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels
load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
work independently and as part of a team
provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with the manager
accurately operate scanner and effectively track delivery process
ensure accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups
consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
