Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled student at ECU
- Must be able to lift and manage a minimum of 60 lbs
- Flexible work availability including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and sanctioned ECU breaks
- Must be available to work a minimum of 8 to 12 hours a week
- Obtain valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Qualify and receive an award from the ECU Financial Aid Office for Federal Work Study program
- Employment contingent on successful completion of a background check

Job Duties
- Facilitate entrance to the Eakin Student Recreation Center and the Health Science Campus Recreation Center
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience when sharing information on CRW programs and services to customers
- Communicate effectively via phone and in-person by exchanging information so the message is received and understood with clarity
- Accurately check out recreation equipment
- Perform cash handling to include selling guest passes, memberships, lockers, and program registrations
- Record and document all lost and found items
- Perform laundry services such as towels and intramural jerseys
- Assist in emergencies as identified in the Emergency Procedures Manual
