Job Requirements

  • Possession of a Federal Work Study award letter for the current academic year or eligibility for federal work-study funding
  • enrollment at half-time or greater (6 or more units) during employment
  • maintenance of satisfactory academic progress
  • minimum 2.0 GPA
  • current tuberculosis test
  • ability to follow directions to carry out assigned duties
  • familiarity with equipment/tools used in the department
  • availability to work 20 hours per week in 3 to 5 hours blocks
  • ability to work independently or in a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Providing program and general college information
  • assist with ensuring office coverage
  • mail pick-up and delivery
  • assisting students and visitors at front counter
  • assist with answering phones
  • data entry and create files
  • scheduling student appointments
  • assist with completion of special projects
  • assist with filing and organizing
  • assist with other related duties
