Job Requirements
- Prior food service or cashier work experience
- Ability to follow directions, read, and communicate in English
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, school administrators, and other Food & Nutrition service-related personnel
- Computer skills as required for the position
- Medium work capability with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Valid Florida Driver's License preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Follow daily work schedules for food production, service, and cleaning
- Participate in state-approved training and educational initiatives
- Demonstrate and promote exceptional customer service
- Operate point-of-sale systems according to federal guidelines
- Adhere to food safety rules, departmental procedures, and HACCP
- Perform kitchen duties including food preparation, production, service, cleanup, and check-in orders
- Assist with ordering, proper storage, and inventories for supplies and food items
- Drive vans and refrigerated/freezer trucks for food delivery
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure sanitation practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
