Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- food service experience
- high school diploma or GED with college degree preferred
- computer skills
- problem solving skills, customer service and decision making
- ability to work 5-day, 50-hour shifts including occasional weekends and holidays
- maintain and enforce standard operating procedures
- ability to properly lift, pull and push up to 25lbs
- ability to travel to other restaurants, main office, meetings
- leadership skills
- self-motivated, service-oriented, and friendly
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of quick service restaurant experience preferred
- serve safe certification or food handler certification
- must be 18 years or older to operate slicer
- reliable transportation
- excellent menu and product knowledge
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- desire to improve self and skill sets
- ability to communicate effectively with guests
- participation in Jersey Mike's training programs
- able to meet schedule requirements and be reliable
Job Duties
- Manages food and labor costs
- trains, monitors, and reinforces food safety procedures
- executes company policies and procedures
- develops and implements strategies to resolve unfavorable trends to enhance sales and profits
- provides proper training for team members
- anticipates and identifies problems and initiates corrective action
- hires and develops employees, conducts new hire orientation, and develops training plans
- schedules and deploys the team appropriately
- addresses performance issues and retains store management and crew
- assists in resolving customer issues
- upholds company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements
- ensures business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
