Job Requirements
- Must be able to physically perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects
- visual acuity including vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
- ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- availability to work night and weekend shifts
- ability to maintain proper hygiene and comply with company dress code
- willingness to adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items, and passing along customer suggestions
- answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- works with co-workers as a team
- operates cash register accurately and scans products
- redeems coupons, food stamps, receives cash, checks, completes credit-card charges, counts change and issues receipts
- places merchandise in bags or boxes and hands packages to customers
- assists with inventory
- receives and checks delivered merchandise and stocks shelves
- maintains lot by shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, and hosing down lot
- fills towel holders and replenishes window washer fluid
- removes trash inside and outside
- checks in products and may review invoices
- practices proper sanitation and maintains clean work areas
- cleans registers, restrooms, break rooms, backroom, sweeps and mops floors
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress standards
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- orders merchandise and supplies as needed
- prices products for customers
- performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
