Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- ability to perform medium work requiring lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- vision capable of seeing from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- ability to work in temperature extremes and dampness
- ability to operate equipment including telephone, fax, copier, pallet jacks, garbage disposal, trash compactor, cardboard compactor, box cutter, knives, computer, calculator, frozen juice machine, coffee maker, cash register, RPM, gas pumps
- willingness to adhere to company hygiene and dress standards
- able to report to work on schedule and on time

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing on suggestions
- answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- works with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
- operates cash register accurately and scans product
- redeems promotional coupons, food stamps, cash, checks, completes credit-card transactions, figures discounts, counts back change, issues receipts
- places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers
- assists with inventory and checks in delivered merchandise
- fills displays and stocks shelves
- ensures proper maintenance of the lot, shovels snow, spreads ice melt, hoses down lot
- fills outside towel holders and replenishes window washer fluid
- removes trash inside and out
- checks in product, puts product away, reviews invoices
- practices proper sanitation procedures and keeps work area clean
- cleans registers, restrooms, break room, backroom, sweeps and mops floors
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on schedule
- orders merchandise and supplies
- prices products
- performs other job-related duties and special projects
